Name: Kisha
Canon: OC
Title: Roving Reportonin
Background:
Kisha comes from a clan of samurai demons. She got unceremoniously kicked out of her clan when she not only took photos from her clan chief bathing with a yellow rubber duck… …No, she went on to actually publish them with self-printed fliers. She argued it was a very demonic thing to do.
While her clan agreed, it was also a thing that very much embarrassed the clan chief (who banned all sorts of photography on his world thereafter, as well as ANY depiction of any sort of duck).
She drifted around for a bit, and became a kind of reporter/item pirate hybrid. Her curiosity worked well for that, as did her samurai upbringing. It paid that she could beat down angry demons. It paid double when she did do so to an overlord that got really angry.
And then photographed him after the defeat and ran a series of articles on that, milking it for all it was worth, earning his eternal enmity and a much more exciting life.
She currently works as the main writer for a particular newspaper, and is perfectly willing to lend her questionable writing style to its aid!
Personality:
Kisha comes from a samurai clan, and has adopted the usual stoic nature. She does not usually act in zany ways, and appears to be a kind of ‘straight man’ to unusual situations, poking fun at them, making sarcastic comments or simply documenting them.
She is a *demonic* ‘straight man’, however, which means that sometimes, she is perfectly happy creating a situation to mock/comment, especially when it means exposing someone’s embarrassment. Particularly if they are in a position of power. And she is curious enough to actively be looking for things to mock/expose…
Indeed, that particular trait is why she became a demonic version of a reporter in the first place. And also why she writes reports in her particular style. It’s meant to cause annoyance in some – either the people the articles are about, or others that are more indirectly involved.
Unlike most demons, she cares little for personal wealth or power, she gets her satisfaction from her reporting shtick. Getting to know secrets of people is like accumulating wealth and power, after all.
Evilities:
Photo Mastery: The ability to take photos while dodging missile massacres and taking upskirt shots from guys who aren’t even wearing skirts while doing so.
Stealth: Kisha’s good at dressing up or being stealthy to get scoops
Nadeshiko’s Passion: A mastery of spears and bows in the traditional feminine Japanese way. That is, the traditional feminine way of the 13th century, where such women were also expected to handle heads of beheaded enemies. Graceful!
Overlord’s Anger, Overlord’s respect: She has managed to survive the direct wrathful assault of several embarrassed overlords, suggesting either a tenacity rivaling that of Sapphire’s insanity, or the dumb luck that different characters might be missing.
Item Pirate: The skill to dive into items to steal completely unrelated items and informations of others who are also in items. Also good for leveling and reverse piracy somehow.
Straight Man: The ability to keep a straight face in nearly any situation despite neither being straight, nor a man. Any situation. Literally. Even when running into guys wearing rubber duck suits. She is even able to not burst into laughter when Asagi mentions her main character status.
Inventory: What stuff did you bring with you? About how much money? The bank may have things that your character would not have carried on their person. Rich characters are entitled to continue being relatively rich if the player wants that.
-Various weapons
-A whole lot of cameras, smartphones, 3DS-es and other stuff that can make photos, including a 19th century version.
-A Item Pirate ship, a so-called TOE-Fighter (Twin Omega Engine). It’s a small cabin with two sail-ish things connected on the left and right. It makes a rather odd sound in space. While in space, nobody can hear you scream, evidently your engines can be heard annoyingly loudly.
